Fishing licence in Schleswig-Holstein
Schleswig-Holstein offers a 28-day Urlauberfischereischein (holiday fishing licence) without the exam. It is applied for and issued online, and the online service also allows applications on someone else's behalf.

- Online, through the Land's digital service (from 1 October 2025). In-person applications cost more.
You still need a permit for the water you fish (Fischereierlaubnis), from the club, leaseholder or owner of the fishing rights.
